We will start you off with e-learning that you can complete anytime before the first day of class in the comfort of your own home. Then we will meet on day one for a short classroom session to go over your knowledge and answer any questions you may have. We will get you setup with your rental gear needed and transition into the pool. While in the pool, you will complete two swim tests. One 10 minute tread/float and a 200 yard continuous swim. You will also start learning the skill needed to scuba dive safely. On day 2 we will finish the pool session which usually only takes a half day. The following weekend we will catch an evening ferry on Friday night from Long Beach and head over to Catalina Island. Saturday and Sunday will be your ocean dives to finish the skills and explore one of the best dive sites on the West Coast! You’ll be able to explore the kelp forests and meet all of the local underwater residents!
We will continue the fun adventure above water with dinner where you get to know more dive buddies!
Cost of the course is $999 (2 person minimum to run the class. You do not need a second person to sign up. We just need two students for the class to run)
Cost includes- PADI E-Learning, Two night stay in Catalina double occupancy, roundtrip ferry ticket, rental gear (You must provide your own mask and snorkel), pool time and Instructor time.
